The marketer is a simple but effective card, especially when there’s a lot of competition over filling wine orders. There are key points in the game–usually after about 4 rounds and then a few rounds later–that everyone wants to fill a wine order. So the marketer can be used as a backup in case you didn’t get one of the precious “fill a wine order” spaces on the board, or you can use it to fill a second wine order on your turn and jump way ahead of your opponents.
