Dave Deenik – Stonemaier Games

Dave Deenik

Dave Deenik (he/him) is the Customer Relationship Manager for Stonemaier Games. Dave’s role involves running the replacement parts program, handling customer service tasks, and coordinating Stonemaier’s convention presences.

While Dave’s earliest gaming memories are playing Uncle Wiggily and Don’t Break the Ice, his obsession with modern hobby games began in college when a friend introduced him to a then brand new card game called Dominion. Tabletop games quickly became a permanent part of Dave’s identity.

After five years as an appropriately nerdy software consultant in Indianapolis, Dave moved to St. Louis in 2017 to pursue and look for opportunities in his passions of swing dancing and board games. Dave spent some time professionally teaching Lindy Hop all over the midwest (ask him to dance!) and then found himself working full-time at Pieces Board Game Bar where he became bar lead (ask him for a cocktail/mocktail!). While working at Pieces Dave was introduced to Jamey, Joe, and Alex and started attending Jamey’s weekly game night.

Dave worked part-time for a year handling Stonemaier’s US parts replacement and came on full-time in December of 2022. Dave has always strived to make his work sharing what he loves. His role at Stonemaier Games is no different, and he can’t wait to show fans new and old how inclusive and wonderful this hobby can be.
