Erica Sanders (she/her) is the eCommerce Brand Manager for Stonemaier Games, and she handles all things Amazon.
She has been an avid board game fan and collector since her friend introduced her to Betrayal at House on the Hill and Catan in 2014. She then spent some time in Australia, and found herself at the Nerd Cave in Sydney, learning new games every weekend. Soon, she learned about Tabletop Simulator, and began teaching friends back home the new games she learned every week, and found this a great way to stay connected while far away. Upon returning home, her game collection grew rapidly, and weekly game nights became one of the things she looked forward to the most.
Erica went to school in Ashland, Oregon, first for a BA in English and then a Master of Arts in Teaching with the goal to be a high school English teacher, bouncing back and forth between Germany and the US. While she enjoyed teaching, she found another calling as a librarian running programs, starting up a board game event, and hosting a Harry Potter trivia day. Soon, those skills were called upon in a different way, and she took over as the manager of a board game store in Ashland, Oregon for three years and cultivated both a D&D and board game community. She then moved into the distribution side of the industry, helping small publishers get their games onto local game store shelves, where she met Alex and Susannah at trade shows and became fast friends with them.
Erica lives in Southern Oregon with her partner (Josh) and their dachshund (Zoë). Her favorite games are Ark Nova, Scythe, and Terraforming Mars, but she always loves learning new games and trying new strategies. She also enjoys jigsaw puzzles, especially while listening to audiobooks and drinking chai.
